The features of the underground watery construction of the limestone areas in Damao county of Inner Mongolia are introduced. The feasibility analysis on the application of the induced polarization to the deep groundwater exploration in Inner Mongolia hilly areas are carried out, and the good exploration effect is obtained finally. The practice proves that the IP is worth to be promoted for the deep water exploration in Inner Mongolia.
