A Review of the Arguments on Xing Shanhong's Wen Xin Diao Long and Shi Pin being Contrary in Conception of Literature

本文是中日两国学者关于刘勰《文心雕龙》与钟嵘《诗品》在文学观上是否存在对立的一场论争的批评。

There have been different opinions among Chinese and Japanese scholars about whether there exists contrariety in conception of literature between Liu Xie's Wen Xin Diao Long and Zhong Rong's Shi Pin. This paper is a literary criticism made by a Japanese scholar about this problem. The author hopes that this kind of argument will continue.
