Ram-compacted piles with bearing base is a new type of piles.Tt is composed of upper concrete pile and lower bearing base.The bearing porperty,design method and field monitor of the ram-compacted piles with bearing base used in Nanhu Garden engineering are instroduced.The fact proves that the piles can enhance the bearing capacity and posses obviously economic,social performance and prospects.
