孙颖先生编创了大量优秀的中国古典舞作品,为中国古典舞的发展作出了贡献。他明确提出自己艺术创作的基本观点是"现实主义"。笔者认为,孙颖先生的"现实主义"指的是一种行为实践,一种发现并创造历史真实感、创造中国古典舞形式与审美的方法。它主要包括三个层次:"现实土壤"的审美基础;"一元"的形式创造前提;"主客相乘"的艺术创造公式。它们分别解决的是孙颖舞蹈创作中的审美、形式和创作过程的问题。

The realism Of SunYing＇s Composition is a practice,and a method of finding and creating the true feeling of history,creating the form and esthetic of Chinese classical dance.His pursuit of realism is a behavioral practice,discovering and creating historical truth as well as creating forms and esthetic methods of Chinese classic dance.Three major levels are included in his realism： realistic soil as esthetic basis;monism as the premise of dance forms;unity of subjective and objective as creative formula.They respectively solve the problems of the esthetics,forms and composition in SunYing＇s dance creation.
