Music and dance as sister art in the course of development have always maintained close relationship.With the synchronous development of history,folk music and dance from southern Fujian has formed inseparable partnership.Nanyin,a unique kind of music in southern Fujian,has great historic and artistic value since it keeps much history information for Chinese traditional music culture.Against the artistic and culture background of Nanyin,the paper analyzes its melody characteristics and its relations and interactions with folk dances in southern Fujian,aiming to provide clear description of the style features of folk dances in southern Fjujian.
