早在中世纪,术语学问世之前,意大利在对科学语言的完善方面就做出了很多的努力和贡献。尤其是在字典的编撰和分类字典学方面取得了很大的成就。终于在19世纪迎来了意大利字典学的大发展,科技术语和术语学也应运而生。但在进入实用字典和科技术语字典的专业术语词条的界定过程中还存在几多争议。没有争议就没有发展,随着术语学研究的不断进步,任何问题都会得到很好的解决。
