Ming style furniture represents the top achievement of Chinese classical culture in furniture.It developed from the succinct style of Wudai dynasty and the complete furniture system of Song dynasty,and formed with the political stability,economic flourishing,culture prospering and social progressing in middle and late Ming dynasty.This paper analyzes the development of Chinese modern furniture after having a research of the brief history of its great influence in the world for hundreds of years,and based on an observation of Chinese elements in the foreign modern furniture and the successful example in business,stresses the design of product： taking advantage of national culture, and fostering a unique designer team with great efforts.How to inherit and carry forward the fine tradition may be a question for study for a long time in the progress of modernization in China.
