从评价到语气——兼论“吧”的意义

On the Grammaticalization Route from Words or Phrases Expressing Evaluation to Modal Words in Chinese as Well as the Meaning of "吧"

通过"X了""ad.+X"类词语的虚化过程可以清楚地看到,在汉语中,存在着从表达评价、判断到表达语气这样一条语法化途径。该途径说明在语法化过程中,词义、句式义、功能义是相互作用的。在此基础上,本文认为语气词"吧"是一个决断行为的标志。

There is a strong tendency from in not only modern Chinese but also ancient Chinese,which can be seen clearly in the grammaticalization of ＂X了＂＂ad.＋X＂.When it comes to the modal words ＂吧＂,we can say that it is a marker of determination action.
