Practice and Conflict——Situation and Problems of Chinese Fashion during Revolution of 1911

辛亥革命不仅带来思想的革命,也改变了人们的穿着习惯,因此,有了一批敢于冲破旧服装文化束缚的先行者,并且出现崭新的服装款式与流行趋势,特别是西装等代表西方服装文化的盛行,引起了政府的行政干预,也促使人们对中国服装文化如何发展的关心与辩论。

The Revolution of 1911 not only liberated ideas but also changed dressing habits.Some pioneers broke through constraints of traditional fashion culture on dressing.That led to the popularity of new dressing styles,especially suits representing western fashion culture,and meanwhile the administrative intervention of the contemporary government,arousing universal concern and debate about the development of Chinese fashion culture.
