三、礼制考论
礼之别异,一在于仪,二在于制。礼制是对礼器形制和数量的规定,是礼义在物体层面的体现。《礼记.深衣》:"盖有制度,以应规矩绳权衡。"礼的分配作用和节制意识要求不同社会阶层在器物使用上有所区别,礼别尊卑、上下的社会意义也要求在仪式所用器物上有所差异。
In ancient times,the internal relation of the theories of rite consists of the ritual interpretation(Li yi 礼义),ritual ceremony(Li yi 礼仪),ritual regulation(Li zhi 礼制) and ritual propriety(Li du 礼度),assuring that the theories are constructed and put into practice.The logical structure of these four is as fellows.The ritual interpretation,which summarizes the essential characteristic of rite,is the inner provision of ritual ceremony and ritual regulation.The ritual propriety is the embodiment of the theoretical space and practical scale with prescriptive significance.Moreover,ritual ceremony is the demonstration of rite about the relationship with heaven-human,politics,human-relations,and ritual propriety is the rule set on forms and quantities.They restricted and influenced each other in terms of theoretical foundation,program process,implements exercise,coordination,principle,etc,with the result that the theory system and practice behavior continued for thousands of years and constantly updated.
