An Analysis of the Present Moral Growth Environment for Juveniles

未成年人是未来的建设者,加强未成年人思想道德教育,已成为关系国家前途和民族命运的希望工程。然而,未成年人道德成长的环境还不尽如人意:学习成绩仍然是教育关注的焦点,学校道德教育过于注重共性,家长不注意言传身教,大众传媒的负面内容影响着未成年人的价值观念和行为取向,适合未成年人特点的活动场地相对缺乏。因此,应该根据未成年人身心成长的特点,创新学校道德教育,创建民主、和谐、平等的家庭教育环境,引导未成年人与同辈群体的交往。家庭、学校、社会加强沟通,相互配合,共同创造未成年人健康成长的良好社会环境。

Juveniles are future builders of our country.Enhancing their ideological and moral education has become a hope project concerning the future of the country and the fate of the nation.However,their present moral growth environment is not very satisfactory.School record is still the focus of education;ideological and moral education at school is too much laid on common;parents fail to set up adequate examples;negative impact of the mass media plays an influential role in juveniles＇ value choice as well as their behaviors;not enough occasions and spaces are created to meet their needs.Therefore,innovations are required in their moral education to suit their characteristics of mental and physical health,to create democratic,harmonious,and equal family education environment,and to guide their social life with peer groups.Family,school,and the society should step up their communication and coordination.
