医疗债务的履行在医疗合同中居于十分重要的地位。其直接关系到患者诊疗目的的实现。医疗债务的特殊性决定该债务的履行不同于一般合同债务的履行，而呈现出一定的特殊性；同时，作为手段债务，医疗债务在履行地点、质量、数量等方面都存在特殊的规则，其清偿并不表现为健康或治愈这一结果，而是根据患者的疾病衡量于当时的医疗水平及是否已经全面、适当地履行其诊疗义务。

The performance of medical debt plays an important role in the medical contract, which directly relates to the realization of patients＇diagnosis purpose. The particularity of medical debt determines that its performance is quite different from that of the general debt contract. Meanwhile, as means of debt, there are special rules in the performance of location, quality, quantity, etc. And the performance of medical debt does not necessarily result in the recovery or cure, but in the doctors＇degree of fulfilling their obligations comprehensively and properly according to the patient＇s disease and the medical level.
