延迟法定退休年龄的理性思考

Rational Reflection of Extending the Retirement Age

我国于20世纪末进入老年型国家,人口老龄化给我国社会经济等各方面的发展带来诸多不利影响。在人口老龄化进程不断加深的背景下,提高我国法定退休年龄这一议题逐渐引起国内外学者的广泛关注。当前在我国退休年龄偏低、人口预期寿命不断提高以及养老基金缺口加大的背景之下,延迟退休年龄是必然趋势,但是考虑到延迟退休年龄带来的负面影响,应该综合考虑,实行弹性退休、分步退休、加强与群众沟通等多种政策。

At the end of 20th century, China ranked among the old-age countries. The aging population has brought about numerous negative issues to China＇s economy and society. As the aging process continues, the topic of extending the retirement age has aroused the wide attention of both foreign and domestic scholars. Currently, the retirement age is somewhat low while the growing expected lifespan and the enlarging gap of the old-age pension have made the extension of the retirement age an inevitable choice. On the other hand, the negative impact of extending the retirement age also needs some consideration.
