民国时期杂谷脑河流域的鸦片种植与族群互动——以佳山羌民杀团总事件为中心的讨论

THE OPIUM PRODUCTION AND ETHNIC INTERACTION OF ZA-GUNAO VALLEY DURING THE REPUBLICAN PERIOD——A Case Study on the Historical Event of Ch’iang Ethnics of Jiashan Village Killing the Headman of Han Ethnics

本研究在田野调查的基础上,综合利用民间文书、口碑资料以及地方文献,透过对1923年发生在川西理县通化地方佳山羌民杀汉人团总事件的历史重构与解读,探讨了事件背后的政治经济与族群互动因素。文章认为,该历史事件之发生与民国时期杂谷脑河流域的鸦片种植关系密切。换言之,鸦片种植在此区域的普及化诱发了汉、羌族群对于土地资源的激烈竞争,在异常紧张的族群关系氛围中爆发了流血事件。由此,文章进一步讨论此历史事件对当地族群关系、族群认同在20世纪50年代前后的不同影响,从而表明族群间的认同、互动形式均与时代情境之变迁息息相关。

Based on the field work,and the comprehensive application of folk literature,oral speech as well as local gazetteers,this research aims to interpret the event of Ch’iang Ethnics of Jiashan Village killing the headman of Han Ethnics during the Republican period in Li County of West Sichuan,so as to discuss the factors of background political economy and ethnic interaction.The thesis reckons that the occurrence of the mentioned event has close relationship with the opium production in Za-Gunao Valley during the Republican period.That is to say,widespread opium production induced the fierce competition of land resources between Han and Chi’ang Ethnic groups.And just in such kind of tense atmosphere of ethnic relationships,the bloody incident broke out.What is more,through the analysis of the different impacts on ethnic identity and ethnic relationship around the 50s of 20th century,the thesis proves that these factors mirror the changing circumstances of the age.
