An Investigation on the Mother Language Use of the Lalu of Malutang Community in Xinping Yi and Dai Autonomous County

腊鲁人是彝族的一个支系,新平县建兴乡马鹿塘村是彝族腊鲁支系的聚居区之一。从调查数据与分析结果来看,随着交通、通讯、广播电视和教育事业的发展,腊鲁人语库变得单一,母语的社会功能主要分布在社区、家庭和个人三个层面,且具有较大的不平衡性,均呈现出一定的衰变状态。

Lalu is a branch of Yi. Malutang village in Jianxing township of Xinping county is home to one of the major Lalu communities. The survey data and analysis show that the language storehouse of the Lalu is losing its variety toward a single tongue as the result of transportation, communication, media and education development. The social functions of Lalu language serve in an imbalanced way within the local community, in families and between indMduals, all betraying a trend of declining.
