Encouraging Social Forces to Invest in Higher Education

随着我国社会经济的快速发展和高等教育大众化趋势的出现,人们对高等教育的需求日益膨胀。但是,相对有限的政府财力不能完全满足人们旺盛的需求,若积极采取有效措施激励社会力量投入高等教育,就能在一定程度上缓解当前高等教育经费短缺的局面,同时,对促进教育机会公平,提高高等教育质量具有重要意义。

With the rapid economic development and the emerging trends in higher education popularization,people are increasingly expanding the demand for higher education.However,relatively limited government financial resources cannot meet people＇s strong demand.Thus,taking effective measures to encourage social forces to invest in higher education can ease the current shortage of funding for higher education to a certain extent.Meanwhile,this is also very important to promote equitable education opportunities and improve the quality of higher education.
