从经济学的角度看,诉讼活动是有成本的,因此,当事人和法院都应充分考量其投入的成本与获得的收益,应尽量降低诉讼成本,避免出现零收益或者负收益的情形。总体而言,调解结案相较于裁判结案是解决纠纷的成本较小的选择。

From an economic point of view,the litigation activities have their cost,so the parties and courts should take full account of their input costs and benefits.They should make efforts to reduce litigation costs and avoid no income or negative income gains.In general,closing a case with mediation,compared with closing a case with referee,is a good choice of lower cost for resolving disputes.
