The word of 'Zaoyou' in the book of Qiminyaoshu was an inheritance of 'Zaoyou'in the book of ShiMing. It was not yet true vegetable oil but some sort of marmalade that was similar with vegetable oil in appearance.Red-date('Zao') could be made to 'you',as well as prugna, apricot and clingstone, and so on.The word of 'Huma' in Qiminyaoshu really implied Sesamum indicum L.that was different from it's meaning in historical documents of Han dynasty.'Huma' was a general term of Sesamum indicum L.and Linumusitatissimum. So it's meaning changed in different time and different place.
