The classical works of Marxism should be treated as a whole.Studies on Marxist economics should not be confined to Das Kapital,but from Communist Manifesto to ZurKritik der Politischen Konomie,to Das Kapital,and then to Anti-Dühring.The prefaces and book reviews written by Marx and Engels for their works reveal profound implications,writing intentions and research methods,thus cannot be overlooked in studying Marxist classics.The works completed by Marx were apparently 'political economy in a narrow sense';but judging from the system of his works,the theoretical framework of Marxist political economics could even be called 'political economy in a broad sense'.
