With many limitations, the traditional methods cannot meet the needs of books purchasing. More efficient and scientific methods are called for to carry out the purchasing tasks with high quality. As an experienced purchaser working for over a decade, the author discusses the issue from three aspects, including purchasing bidding, the construction of purchasing models and the application of data mining technologies.
