摘要 影像残留是一种TFT-LCD屏的固有特性。主要是由于长时间显示静态画面时液晶材料的极化敏感性造成的。这种极化影响了液晶材料的光学特性,并阻止液晶分子完全恢复到正常松弛状态。本文主要探讨了通过改变TFT设计来改善面影像残留现象的方案。通过设计实验变更TFT-LCD的主要参数(Pixel设计、Aperture Ratio、ΔVp等),提出了4种面影像残留改善方案并制作了样品。对这4种改善方案的试制样品进行了TFT-LCD面影像残留水平测量和评价,分析了各像素设计因素对面影像残留水平的影响;同时对试制样品的画面品质进行了评价,为解决相关画面品质问题对该方案进行了设计优化,最终获得了一种较佳的面影像残留改善方案。 Image sticking is an intrinsic behavior of TFT-LCD panels.It is the result of their susceptibility to polarization of the liquid crystals when a static image remains displayed on the screen for long time.This polarization affects the optical properties of liquid crystals as it prevents the liquid crystals to return fully to their normal " relaxed " state.The improvement solutions of area image sticking phenomena are mainly discussed through changing the TFT design.Through the experiments design of changing main parameters of TFT-LCD(pixel design,aperture ratio,ΔV p,etc.),4kinds of area image sticking improvement solutions are put forward and corresponding samples are also produced.The leveling of these 4kinds of area image sticking improved samples is evaluated,and the relationship between each pixel design factor and area image sticking level is analyzed.In addition,display quality evaluation is also conducted and finally one better area image sticking improvement solution is obtained after optimizing the solution to improve some display quality issue.
