摘要
本文以福州三坊七巷"闽都民俗文化大观园"简介和英国Shakespeare’s Birthplace展馆简介为案例,对汉英文化展馆说明文字从修辞层面上进行对比。在此基础上分析探讨前者翻译调整问题,以真实案例强调修辞意识在此类语篇翻译过程中的必要性和有效性。提出加强对同类语篇的修辞对比,并在翻译过程中作相应调适,是提高相关非文学语篇翻译质量的有效途径。
A rhetorical comparison is conducted between the cultural exhibition literature of Fuzhou Folk Culture Exhibition and Shakespeare＇s Birthplace. Based on that, the adjustment of translation strategies of the former is discussed to give a special point of the importance and effectiveness of rhetorical awareness in translating this type of texts. It is suggested that the practice also applies to the handling of other non-literary texts.
