Through analyzing the basic functions and components of automatic meter reading systems,based on the network technology like GPRS,the article analyzes the design and implementation of automatic meter reading management system hoping to improve the efficiency of meter reading and reduce the work load of maintenance and cost,which has lowered management costs,improved management efficiency and economic benefit.
