A Research of Ashing Lama

阿升喇嘛是锡勒图库伦札萨克喇嘛旗历史上首任札萨克达喇嘛(追认),他早年频繁往来于蒙藏地区间,为藏传佛教格鲁派传入蒙古地区功不可没,也为蒙、藏、满等民族间的相互联系起过重要的作用。有关该喇嘛历史事迹在蒙、藏、汉、满文书写的历史文献中均有述及,不过,对其身份来历和历史事迹等的记载,不同文字文献又有所不同,故研究者们就该喇嘛相关问题的阐述还未达成共识。本文将运用相关文献对阿升喇嘛身份来历和主要的历史事迹做一系统考述。

Ashing Lama is the first Jaseg Da Lama in the history of Xireet Huree Jaseg Lama Banner （ratification） , he constantly moved between Mongolian and Tibetan regions in his eary years, and was instrumental in helping the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism introduced in Mongolia area, and also played an important role in connecting the relation between Mongolian, Tibetan, and Manchu. The historical deeds of the lama were described with different languages in historical documents of the Mongolian, Tibetan, Han and Manchu. However,about his identity origin and historical deeds in the annals different languages of the documents have different records. Therefore, the descriptions of researchers on the issues that related to him have not yet achieved a consensus. This article will use the relevant literature to make a comparatively systematic study on his identity origin and historical deeds.
