The problems associated with the mechanical ash-conveying unit for the bag filter system used at SISG was analyzed, and a pneumatic ash-conveying unit was adopted to No. 8 bag filter system of the Company. A comparison of the two units showed that the pneumatic one was more advanced and reliable than the mechanical one.
