湖南省委省政府提出将湘江打造为"东方莱茵河"的战略决策具有很深的哲学意蕴,它是水资源的人文化、是传统文化的现代化、是对湘江污染形势认识的深刻化、是为政者处事品格的人本化。围绕建设东方莱茵河和建设两型社会,高校应该在社会观念引导、人才培养、科学研究、技术开发、校企合作等方面做出应有的贡献。

There are many deep philosophical implications on becoming XiangJiang River into the Rhine in the east.It reflects that people fully understand the close relation between human and water,it indicates that modernist flyback and self-identity with Chinese traditional water culture,it proclaims the leaders of Hunan Province deeply understand the pollution situation of XiangJiang,it reveals the governors with the Water-borne character readily follow what is right at any time.Higher Education,especially all universities should make contributions in many ways to building the Rhine in the east,for example,leading social ideas,training talents,conducting scientific research,developing new technology and products,establishing the cooperation relations between school and enterprise,etc.
