可持续发展是当今社会普遍关注的热门话题，已成为人类共同追求的目标。矿业或自然资源产业在社会经济发展不同阶段发挥的作用有所不同，但矿业是国民经济基础产业的地位始终没有改变。在我国矿业产业仍将是支撑国民经济继续高速增长的重要产业。矿业是郑州地区（ 市） 的主导产业之一，矿业经济是可持续发展的经济成份，矿业仍然是支撑地区经济可持续发展的主导力量。保持郑州市矿业可持续发展的措施和建议是加大有资源前景、市场急需的矿产的勘查。坚决进行矿业产业结构调整，提高地区矿业企业的市场竞争能力和矿产品的市场竞争能力。

Sustained development is a topical subject which has aroused general concern and become common target of mainkind. Mining industry or natural resources industry have played different role in various stage of social economic development. But the position of mining industry in fundamental industries of national economy has not changed all along. In China, mining industry is still important industry which has sustained high speed development of national economy. Mining industry is one of leading industry in Zheng Zou city. Mining industry is economic component part of sustained development, and it is still the leading strength of supporting sustained development of regional economy. The paper puts forward suggests about maintaining the sustained development of mining industry in Zheng Zou city, such as: strengthening the exploration of minerals which have a vast range of prospect, firmly making structural adjustment of mining industry ,improving the competitive ability of regional mining industry and mining products.
