中国学生英语句法中的零主语和零宾语研究 被引量:11

Null subjects and null objects in L2 syntax by Chinese learners of English

摘要 本研究调查了中国学习者在英语习得中零主语和零宾语的习失情况。发现如下:1)学习者对英语零主语和零宾语句子的判断都随着英语水平的提高而增强,且高级学习者既能习失零主语,也能习失零宾语;2)相对于从句零宾语,学习者更易习失主句零宾语;3)相对于零所指主语,学习者更易习失零虚主语。本文对这种习失现象进行了解释。 This study aims to examine the unlearning of null subjects and null objects by Chinese learners in their L2 acquisition of English. The results are as follows. Firstly, Chinese learners’ awareness of the obligatoriness of subjects and objects in English finite clauses increases with their proficiency level, and advanced learners can unlearn both null subjects and null objects. Secondly, Chinese learners have less difficulty in unlearning null matrix objects than null embedded objects. Thirdly, compared with null referential subjects, learners perform better on unlearning null expletive subjects. And some explanations are given.
