PhD supervisors are an important part of teaching and scientific research teams,which represents the higher level of scientific research in various areas.This paper attempts to find out how the PHD supervisors in the LIS and Archives Management areas publish theses from the total number of theses published by them,the ratio of theses published by them in core journals,the ratio distribution of PHD supervisors in authors who publish theses in core journals,and the co-authoring of theses.The paper aims at learning more about the scientific research conducted by PHD supervisors in these areas so as to provide references for the further improvement of the teaching and scientific research level in the LIS and Archives Management areas.
