西安市老年人群及其照料者心理卫生知识知晓率调查

Survey on Awareness of Mental Health Knowledge among Elderly Population and Their Caregivers in Xi'an

目的了解西安市社区老年人群及其照料者的心理健康知识、精神疾病防治知识的知晓程度。方法采用分层随机抽样方法,以老年期常见精神疾病症状和预防知识调查表为工具,对西安市4个社区的55岁以上老年人群及其照料者进行调查。共收回有效问卷800份。结果老年人群及其照料者心理卫生知识平均知晓率为78%;男性回答正确率为78%,女性回答正确率为79%,经χ2检验,两者无明显差异;老年人群及其照料者的文化程度与回答正确率间有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论西安市老年人群及其照料者对"老年期常见精神疾病症状和预防知识"知晓率已达到《中国精神卫生工作规划(2002-2010年)》中提出"到2010年达到50%"的目标。

Objective To understand the awareness status of mental health knowledge,the prevention and treatment of mental illness among elderly population and their caregivers in Xi＇an.Methods Using stratified cluster randomization method,and the Common Mental Illness Symptoms of Old Age and Their Prevention Knowledge Questionnaire as tools,old people over 55 years of age and their caregivers in four communities in Xi＇an were administered with the questionnaire;a total of 800 valid questionnaires were collected.Results The average accuracy rate of mental health knowledge was 78%;the average accuracy rate was 78% for male and 79% for female.The χ2 Testing showed that there was no significant gender difference.There was significant difference between the rate of correct answers and educational level of elderly population and their caregivers（P0.05）.Conclusion The awareness of common mental illness symptoms of old age and their prevention knowledge among elderly population and their caregivers have reached the goal,which is to reach 50% by 2010 which is submitted in China＇s mental health plan（2002-2010）.
