Clinical experiences of GuiZhi decoction

桂枝汤被誉为调和营卫之第一方,仲景群方之冠,历代医家对伤寒条文领悟的同时,对桂枝汤的加减应用也颇为融会新知,对《伤寒论》、《金匮要略》的不断地继承和发展同时,桂枝汤也不断在临证体现调和营卫的灵活性,体现中医同方异治奇妙手法。

GuiZhi decoction, known as the ＂the crown of Zhongjing’s prescriptions＂, also has been praised as the primar formula to regulate nutritive qi and defensive qi. Traditional Chinese doctors of pastgenerations have been expanding and developing the clinical applications of guiZhi decoction on the base of the understanding for the articles in the ‘Treatises on Cold-induced Disease’. GuiZhi decoction is playing the important role in treating internal miscellaneous diseases by inheriting and carrying forward the academic ideas of ‘Treatises on Cold-induced Disease’ and ‘Medical Treasures of thegolden Chamber’. Meanwhile, it is reflecting the flexibility of ‘regulating nutritive qi and defensive qi’ and marvelous treatment of ‘same formula different applications’ in traditional Chinese.
