在粮食装入高的储粮仓时,粮食由十几米或几十米的高度,以较低的初速度或自由落体的形式自上而落到地面或下层粮食上,使粮食(尤其玉米)产生大量的破碎粒。影响粮食的加工和后期储藏,降低了商业价值。高仓入料减速装置是在粮食下落过程中,间隔一定的距离设置一个缓冲装置,将粮食下落过程产生的一次大碰撞分解成若干次小碰撞,降低了高仓入料粮食的破损率,减轻仓内粮食分级程度。
