Text messages, as a kind of entertainment and a tool of communication, are more and more favored. The prevalence of silent message is due to high-tech, which provides a fast communication platform. The language of Text message not only conveys various Social contents, produces a sense of humorous and indirect effect, but also shows the richness of language. This paper then explores text messages from the perspectives of pragmatics, especially in cooperative principles, in attempt to have a better understanding and appreciation of them. In detail, this paper will emphasize on cooperative principle to analyze how the pragmatics influences the text message and rather, influence the communication.
