Construction of a New System for Professional College English Course Based to Meet Needs of Talent Market

高职高专人才的培养方向是以市场为导向,以就业为目标,以产学结合为关键。通过社会调查和数据分析,找出当前高职高专英语教学现状与就业市场需求的差距。在文献资料的基础上,参照ESP教学理论,结合教改实践,探索和架构把培养学生的英语应用能力和岗位群英语交际实践能力放在首要位置、以市场人才需求为导向的高职高专英语课程新体系。

The purpose of professional college education is to cultivate＇students to meet the needs of the market, to aim at employment, and to combine practice and study. Through the survey and statistics, the gap between present teaching situ- ations and requirements of the employment market was found. Based on literature and material, the paper uses ESP teaching theory for reference and combines teaching practice in order to construct a new system for Professional College English Course, which focuses on strengthening the students＇ practical ability with English in different job tasks.
