摘要
利用平面波展开法研究了二维光子晶体线缺陷波导中慢光的传输特性.本文探讨了缺陷波导中缺陷处椭圆形介质柱长短轴的变化对缺陷模式所产生的影响.分析表明,调节缺陷处椭圆形介质柱长短轴的尺寸能得到平坦的导模色散曲线图.可得到的群速度最大值低于0.072c,带边群速度最小值仅为0.002c,慢光模式为单模式,对光的局域更强,而且设计简单的慢光波导结构.
The transmission properties of slow light in two-dimensional photonic crystal line defect waveguide was investigated by the plane wave expansion method.In this thesis,the impact on the group velocity was analyzed when varing the values of semi minor axis(A) and semi major axis(B) of the elliptical dielectric holes.The numercial simulation results prove that the flat dispersion curve of the guided mode can be generated when the semi minor axis(A) and semi major axis(B) are tuned progressively.Finaly,a desired slow light structure is designed,in which the maximum group velocity is below 0.072c,the minimum group velocity near band edge is just 0.002c,the guided mode is single mode and all the designs are simple.
