摘要
作为理解语义学的框架语义学理论指出:对任何概念的理解必然激活其所在的框架和框架中的相关元素。它为EFL阅读教学研究提供新的途径。以《致用英语综合教程》为教学案例,演示教师在EFL阅读教学中运用框架语义理论指导学生进行阅读的教学过程。
Frame Semantics,the semantics of understanding,argues that understanding of any concept inevitably triggers its semantic frame with relevant frame elements.This theory provides a new approach to the study on EFL reading.This paper,by introducing a teaching case of comprehensive English course,demonstrates the teaching process of using Frame Semantics to guide the students in their English reading.
