顺应论视角下的英语动画片幽默字幕翻译——以《怪物史莱克》为例

On the Translation of Humor Subtitling of English Cartoons from the Perspective of Adaptation Theory——A Case Study of Shrek

在顺应论的指导下,动画片幽默字幕翻译的是动态选择过程,译者有意识地选择翻译策略,顺应译语观众心理世界、社交世界因素和物理世界因素等交际语境,以及译语的词汇、句子和语言风格等语言语境,有效地使译语观众得到与原语观众同样的幽默效果。

This paper,based on the theory of adaptation,points out that the translation of humor subtitling is a dynamic adaptation to the communicative context which includes the mental world,social world and physical world of the audience,and linguistic context which includes word choices,sentence patterns and language style of Chinese.By the conscious choice of translation skills,the translated humor subtitling are made to achieve the expected result in Chinese audience.
