五年制高职学生英语课堂参与情况调查

摘要 本研究通过课堂观察、问卷和访谈等研究方法,调查了五年制高职生英语课堂参与的状况,并探究了其影响因素。调查结果表明,高职生的英语课堂参与意识薄弱,参与方式单一,参与能力较弱,参与机会欠缺,参与态度消极。另外,研究显示,影响高职生英语课堂参与的因素呈多样化,涉及学生的英语能力和情感因素、文化因素及教师方面因素等。在此基础之上,本研究提出了促进学生积极参与英语课堂学习的措施,包括增强参与意识,提高参与能力,增加参与机会,激励积极主动参与。 This research has adopted the methods of classroom observation,questionnaire and interview to investigate the current situation of five-year-schooling vocational students' engagement in English classroom activities,specifically exploring the influential factors.The research findings have demonstrated that vocational students do not have strong awareness of engagement.Their means of engagement lacks variation and their ability of engagement is poor.They are not provided with sufficient opportunities of participation and most of them are passive in class.What is more,it has been revealed that the influential factors are varied and multiple,including students' English level and affective interference,culture factors as well as teachers' factors.On the basis of the survey,the author proposes some measures to activate students' engagement in English classroom activities,including promoting engagement awareness,improving engagement abilities,increasing engagement opportunities,encouraging initiative and active engagement.
