Brief Analysis of the Farmers and "Military" Servant System in Wei and Jin Dynasties

作为魏晋南北朝时期一项重要的社会制度,佃客部曲制广泛存在有其深刻的社会根源,大量的编户齐民从汉末到魏晋时期,随着土地急剧减少社会地位也逐步下降,通过多种的形式建立了与世家大族之间的依附关系。在这种紧密的人身依附关系中,虽然以牺牲数量众多的佃客部曲利益为代价,但是就社会经济的恢复发展等方面产生了重要影响。

As an important social system of the dynasties of Wei and Jin,and the Northern and Southern dynasties,the widest existence of the system of the farmer（dianke） and ＂military＂ servant（buqu） has its deep social root.From the end of Han to Wei and Jin dynasties,a large number of families in state households became gradually low in social status because of the sharp decrease of their land.Then they established the relationship with great families through various forms.However,this close attachment relationship greatly impacted the recovery and development of social economy at the expense of most tenant farmers and ＂military＂ servants＇ interest though.
