话本小说研究九十年回顾与展望

Ninety Years' Study of Venacular Novels

话本小说研究已经走过90个年头,回顾九十年的研究状况,我们可以把话本小说研究划分为开创、深化、总结和繁荣突破四个时期。话本小说研究已经形成了有自己的研究对象、边界、方法、成果、研究者队伍等一系列要素的"话本学"学科。但研究依然存在缺乏深度模式、理论总结能力欠缺等问题,在文艺学的立场,话本小说未来的研究主要有三个方向:口头艺术与话本小说叙事研究;传统文化与话本小说叙事研究;话本小说的接受问题研究。

The study of venacular novels has gone through 90 years, which can be divided into four periods： initiation, deepening, summary and prosperity. This field of research has established its own object, boundary, methods, achievement and research teams. There are weaknesses in this research, however. For future researchers, there are three directions in which they can push forward their task： verbal art and narrative; traditional culture and narrative; reception.
