介绍CAD/CAM技术的发展过程,举例说明CAD/CAM技术在机械产品设计及制造中应用的一般方法和过程,简要阐述机械产品设计及制造采用CAD/CAM技术的现实意义,以促进CAD/CAM技术在机械加工行业中广泛运用。
This article deals with the development of CAD/CAM technology, the general methods and procedures in the using of CAD/ CAM technology in mechanical design and manufacturing with examples and illustrations. Besides, the author expounds on the signifi- cance of adopting CAD/CAM technology in a bid to stimulate the applications of this technique in the field of mechanical design and production.
