摘要
大学英语作为一门公共基础课程,其教学目标、教学内容和教学过程都蕴含着丰富的通识意蕴,但这种通识意蕴被现实中的工具主义和技术化英语教学所遮蔽。为此,需要明确大学英语教学目标的通识指向,充实、挖掘教学内容的文化价值内涵,在教学过程中引导学生积极地自主探究审断,以促使学生通识精神的形成,实现大学英语教学的通识意蕴。
As a basic course, College English manifests the rich spirit of general education in its teaching objectives, teaching contents and teaching courses. However, the general implication is shaded by the instrumentalism and technology-based English teaching. Hence, the objective of general-education-oriented teaching should be made clear and definite in College English teaching. During the teaching process, teachers ought to enrich and explore the culturally-bound content, initiate studentsj independent inquiry spirit, so as to cultivate students general spirit, and attain the implication of general education in College English teaching.
