摘要
《大卫·科波菲尔》是狄更斯最具代表性、最受读者欢迎的小说之一。该小说充分体现了他的语言特色。人物语言的口语化是狄更斯构建该作品语言风格的主要技巧之一。从语音、语法和词汇3个层面分析了该作品中人物语言的口语化特征,同时分析了口语化手段在人物形象的塑造中所起的功能和作用。口语化的创作手段不仅揭示出人物的社会属性,而且还反映出了人物的个性特征。
David Copperfield is one of the most popular and representative novels of Charles Dickens＇.The novel best shows his language features.The use of colloquialism creates one of the techniques of his language style in this novel.The paper analyzes the colloquial language features of the characters and their functions and effects as well.It concludes that the skill of colloquial languages can not only show the social attributes of the characters but also the personal features.
