摘要
国家形象的国际传播不仅是信息传递和符号转换,也是跨文化的交流和促进心意互通。针对国内外受众的文化差异,我们不仅要重视中国形象在国际传播中的语言与符号转译,还需重视价值观的对话与观念沟通,才可能真正从容应对新的国际舆论环境和"媒介"对当代社会的核心作用。目前我国核心价值观的英文译介涉及到中西理解多元与统一、分歧与共识、思与行关系上的诸多差异,这些可能形成理解障碍的观念差异需要我们更好地转译和更多地解释。
The international spread of national image is not only information transmission and transformation of symbols, but also cross-cultural exchange and promotion of mind sharing. As to domestic cultural differences of international audiences we must not only attach importance to language and code translation of China's image in the international spread, but also need to empha- size the dialogue of values and communication of ideas. In this way, we can really calmly respond to new public opinion envi- ronment and the central role which "medium" has in the contemporary society. At present, the English translations of China's core values are related to Chinese and western understanding of diversity and unity, the differences and consensus, and the differences of relationship between thought and action, all of which may form a barrier to the understanding of the differences of concept and require a better translation and more explanation.
