应用案例教学法提高工科大学生工程素质的探讨 被引量:31

摘要 高等院校工程教育的目标是培养具有良好素质的工程师,除具备一般高等教育人才的素质之外需要更加突出大学生工程素质的培养。我国高等工程教育大学生的工程素质与社会需求差距显著,主要的问题在于工程教育的"工程性"明显不足以及忽视了课程教学在工程素质培养中的作用。本文从工程教育实践性、综合性、经济性和创新性的特性出发,结合案例教学法的特点,就案例教学法应用于工科课程教学对培养大学生工程素质的优越性进行了分析。与传统授课相比较,案例教学法应用于工科课程教学对培养学生的工程实践能力、创新能力、工程意识等具有显著优势,是培养学生工程素质的良好途径。最后结合工科课程的特点和要求,详细阐述了工科课程开展案例教学的方法。 Engineering education in the institutions of higher learning in China aims to train professional engineers with good qualities. In addition to general qualities required for the undergraduate, great attention should be paid to train engineering quality of undergraduates major in engineering. There is great difference between engineering quality fostered by higher engineering education and that required by the society, main causes for which are deficiency of "engineering nature" in engineering education and importance of engineering education for engineering quality training being neglected. This paper, on the basis of practicality, comprehensiveness, economical efficiency and creativity of en- gineering education plus characteristics of case teaching method, analyses advantages on adopting case teaching method in engineering courses for strengthening undergraduates' engineering quality. In comparison with traditional teaching method, the case teaching one bestows great advantages in fostering engineering practical ability, creativity, engineering consciousness and so on when being adopted in engineering courses, and is terrific approach to cultivate engineering quality of students. At the end, the paper states methods to carry out case teaching in engineering courses in combination with characteristics and requirements of the courses.
