Effectiveness of A Strategy-focused Instruction in College EFL Writing

摘要 本研究探讨英语写作策略教学对提高英语专业大学生的英语写作动机和英语写作水平的有效性。研究基于一项为期15周的写作策略教学实验,以"学习策略的分步习得模式"为构架,融入"目标教学"要素,为提高学生英语写作水平和动机提供了一个有效而又切实可行的途径和方法。 The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a strategy-focused EFL writing instruction on English majors' (N = 68) EFL writing motivation and writing performance. The instruction was based upon "the Social Cognitive Strategy Model of Sequential Skill Acquisition" incorporated with goal instruction. The study provided an effective and feasible way to promote EFL writing performance and motivation in normal college EFL writing curriculum.
