Composition and Distribution of Birds in Wuhu City

鸟类是城市生态系统的重要组成部分,对于维持城市生态平衡具有重要作用。2005年5月—2007年5月,对芜湖市及周边地区4种生境鸟类进行了调查,共记录到鸟类种类138种,隶属于16目41科。通过与上海、广州、淄博及呼和浩特4个城市的鸟类群落相似性及G-F指数进行了比较,结果显示,芜湖市与上海鸟类群落的相似性最高,与呼和浩特鸟类群落的相似性最低。在科属水平上,5个城市物种多样性的高低依次为:上海、广州、淄博、芜湖、呼和浩特。作为芜湖市第1个完整的鸟类区系调查,可以为该地区的城市生态规划和进一步鸟类研究提供参考资料。

The bird is an important component of a city ecological system and plays a significant role in maintaining ecological balance. From May 2005 to May 2007, the bird livings were investigated in four diffrent habitats in Wuhu City and its surroundings. A total of 138 species belonging to 16 orders and 41 families were recorded. The comparison with Shanghai, Guangzhou, Zibo and Hohhot was made on the similarity of birds community and G- F index respectively. Wuhu City shared the highest similarity with Shanghai and the lowest with Hohhot. In genera level, five cities were ordered as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Zibo, Wuhu, Hohhot based on species diversity. This investigation, as the first entire avian checklist of Wuhu City, aimed at providing an reference material for the regions urban ecological planning and bird research.
