中药配合放、化疗治疗癌性上腔静脉综合征33例

Treatment of 33 Patients Suffering from Cancerous Superior Vena Cava Syndrome with Combination of TCM and Western Medicine

目的:观察中西医结合治疗上腔静脉综合征(s uper i or vena cava s yndr ome,SVCS)的疗效。方法:15例患者应用放疗,12例患者应用化疗,3例患者应用放、化疗结合,3例保守治疗,同时均配合中药治疗,观察患者症状及体征变化。结果:患者上肢或头颈部肿胀、前胸部静脉扩张、胸闷憋气、颈静脉怒张及心悸的缓解率分别为88.9%、100%、83.3%、100%、100%。治疗总有效率为82%。结论:中西医结合治疗SVCS能明显改善SVCS患者的症状及体征,疗效明确,其中中医特色疗效可能为增强侧支循环功能。

Objective： To observe curative effects of combination of TCM and western medicine in treating cancerous superior vena cava syndrome. Method： 15 cases were treated with radiotherapy, 12 with chemotherapy, 3 with chemotherapy and radiotherapy as well as 3 with conservative treatment. All the patients were administered with TCM and the symptoms and signs changes of them were observed. Result： The remission rates of swelling of upper limbs or head and neck, pectoral phlebeciasia, chest distress and short of breath, jugular varicosity and palpitation were respectively 88.9%, 100%, 83.3%, 100% and 100%. Total effective rate was 82%. Conclusion： Combination of TCM and western medicine could obviously improve the symptoms and signs of the patients with SVCS, It is effective and the features of TCM might improve collateral circulation.
