摘要
欧美国家普遍认为,作为“非西方文化区”的东亚文化,特别是儒家文化同产业革命和市场经济体制无缘,因而东亚要实现工业化、现代化就必须“西化”,借助新教伦理培育个人主义,其实,东亚文化的群体、节约及重名主义有利于形成稳定的社会环境、强劲的发展动力、自助的发展资源和自主的发展政策,这正是东亚崛起的文化背景。事实上,只要能有效解决东西方文化的撞击,及时重构新文化体系,系统解决有关问题,东亚经济实现新的飞跃是完全可能的。
It is generally thought by European Nations and the USA that the East Asiall culture,especially the Conflician culture, which belongs to the 'Non--Western culture region', has nothingto do with industrial revolution and market economy system, th[ls East Asia has to be westernizedand cultivate individualism with the help of Protestantism. In reality, the collectivism, thift andelnptlasis on thine wriich characterize the East Asian culture are favorable for the formation of stablesocial envirolllnent, strong Qeveioplnent stimllli, depen<ience on their own deveioplnent resources andindepenQerlt tieveiopment policies, which is exactly tile yely cultural 'bacKground for the rise of EastAsia. As a matter of fact, only if the conflicts between the Eastern and Western cllltures are solvedeffectively, and the new cultural system is reshaped in time, and relevanl plxiblelns are solved in asystematic way, it is certain that East Asia will achieve a flew leap in economic development.
