The issue of fairness is the core of modern ethics, and inter generational justice is a difficult problem in the domain and it is an unavoidable problem in sustainable human development. Thus the discussion of the issue has an important practical signifi- cance. Undoubtedly, Rawls＇ s just savings principle gives us an important insight into this problem. While understanding of Rawls＇ s position on this issue needs a full consideration from theoretical background, logical premise, values and specific programs.
